Support for civil engineers and geotechnical professionals

Eroding bluff property on Whidbey Island

We now offer high-accuracy 3D digital modeling of bluffs and other steep slopes on shoreline-adjacent properties that are currently or potentially unstable. Using the recommended analysis software, a civil engineer or geotechnical professional can record multiple 2D profile views of a slope from a bluff to a beach, and annotate the views based on data obtained in person at the site. While looking at the 3D model, record as many photo-like views of the sloping terrain as you need, from any viewpoint. This capability enables reports with extensive illustrative views of a property to convey the current state of a sloping land area, and where recent slumps or slides have occurred. Extract close-up views of any area of exposed earth or problematic vegetation. Our equipment now includes the Matrice 4 Enterprise with enhanced vertical surface modeling. We routinely process drone-sourced images with KlauPPK software referencing the Washington State Reference Network.
